Would Anyone Like Some Henshaw?

After a worse-than-fail Co-Ed Day (don't ask) and an upcoming snooze fest (aka Presentation Day), my "I-Don't-Really-Care" level has risen to a point where I don't really care if I run around my brother school wearing nothing but a belt and a bagpipe, as long as my (very reluctant) brain can finally (very reluctantly) awaken from it's year-and-a-half (not quite reluctant) hibernation-squash time.

Of course, "negative" behavior like that can only mean one thing: a full hour-and-a-half speech from Henshaw about "the importance of one's self esteem" and "the importance of a counselor to discuss the importance of one's self esteem" and "the importance to come to me to discuss the all-important booking of an all-important counselor to discuss my all-important self esteem level".
Oh yummy, book me in straight away, please.

Move Like Albert Hitchcock

"He sees you when you're sleeping,
He knows when you're awake....."

Yes, the Christmas season is almost upon us! This Christmas is most likely just like any other Christmas some of you may have, but it's going to be different for me this year. For starters, my cousin is over from China, and they don't celebrate Christmas in China.

Shockgasphorror!

So I'm dressing this year's Christmas up in the traditional red-and-green Christmas, and we're finally taking out the Christmas tree (in one particular year, when I was actually bothered give a damn about a Christmas tree, I spray painted a branch white and stuck it in a decorated plastic plant pot. Look Mum, a White Christmas!)

I was quite appalled by the lack of festive spirit in my cousin that I decided to make up a checklist of thing's he has never done:
- never had a candy cane (I picked up a giant candy-cane in Big W, and the response I received was a non-verbal "What in the world?!")
-never put up a Christmas tree (and with that, I'm guessing he's never experienced that horrible itching sensation you get when you're setting up a Christmas trees)
- and last but not least (far from least...I'd say the most important...) he's never sent out a Christmas present (speaking of which, he's never received one either)

Don't go all human-rights on me; they give out
money at Christmas time (otherwise known
as Chinese New Year), so the children can
go out and buy whatever they want in China
(Oh, you spoiled brats!)

I need suggestions on how to make this Christmas Christmassy, any help?

Oh, Dam He's Hot (Ha Ha Ha)

All our major yearlies are finally over (yes, English, Science and Mathematics), AND the German yearlie was today (not-too-hard;it was a textbook test...). The History one is next, but that's nothing to worry about.

Recently, I've had a few of cringe-worthy moments, and I thought I'd share one of them.
(Cringe-worthy moments occur when you do something completely insignificant that affected absolutely no-body but yourself [the people around you may have not noticed], but you still feel as though you have completely screwed up your life [if "Oh-My-Goodness, I cannot believe I just did that" keeps coming back to haunt you, then that counts as Cringe-Worthy])

At Woolworths, I was waiting "in line" at the meat section(yes, the ticket system still counts as a line!). Now it seemed me to that only the adults ever bought the meat (my guess that everyone my age would be in the magazine section, or even worse, the Fro-gurt section), and so I straightened myself to look more mature, and when my number was called (46!) I stuttered out:
"Yeah, no, uhh....Yeah, ummmm"
A horrific silence pursued, followed by a
" Just a kilogram of those Ingham chicken drumsticks" at only a 1000 words/second.

"Oh-My-Goodness, I cannot believe you just said that!"
"Dude, you didn't need to say Ingham"
"You didn't need to say chicken either"
"You didn't have to jab your finger at the glass; you're standing right in front of the drumsticks"
"You should have said thanks at the end"
"Oh dear, who says kilogram these days? For your information, it's kilo"
"Oh and, you didn't need to look down at the drumksticks either"
"I don't think he caught that, you were a tad too fast"

Meat Man: "Anything else?"
Me: "Uhhh, no thanks, thanks"

"Naww, now you did it, you idiot. No-one says 'No thanks, thanks'"
"He now thinks you're a real blithering psycho, ya brainless fud"
"Did you just say thanks, thanks?"
"The woman next to me must think I'm some tourist. A tourist! In my own country!"
"On second thoughts, the woman next to me must think I'm just plain dumb"

Anyone else in the same situation?

Phone!

I recently acquired a new phone, the Nokia 6700 Classic. It's slim, heavy, and very cool to the touch. It's a rather neat little thing, apart from the fact that it DOESN'T have Global Bloxx (the most addictive Tetris-type game ever)
I've been Googling Nokia themes for my phone, and I decided to try Googling Global Bloxx (obviously, I failed...Global Bloxx is a game only for the Nokia E63)
But nonetheless, if anyone shall find a downloadable copy of Global Bloxx, please, link me!

Ciao;

1 down, 5 to go

That's one yearly exam down, 6 more to go.
Oh yes, I'm very pumped.

Wind Ensemble (the band I play in) are going on tour soon, all the way to Port Stevens (absolutely, very far away...!) Our band conductor chose the dolphin watch over sand-dunes boarding, and decided to play at retirement villages rather the local town square, but I guess thats what I deserve for going to an all-girls wuss school.

Also, for my food-technology class, we have to film an advertisement about a party planning company (that we created). My whole group is totally ready (that was dripping with sarcasm). I had probably better leave a note on her desk, to thank her for her support:

Thanks A Lot Ms Banks For The Shorter-Than-Yesterday's Notice! We Are Definitely Going To Be Ready, Especially if You Give Us Less Than 12 Hours Notice To Create A Full-Scale Advertisement, WITHOUT Your Help!
*lots of kisses from me*
Yours truly,
Amy.

Studiously Studying

While browsing Facebook (yes i know, I should be studying) I came upon a rather amusing group;
"Studying Is Student and Dying Put Together"
I have to applaud whoever came up with that one; Genius, really.

I'm ready to pack up my English homework.
I have been sitting at my desk the past hour
re-reading the one question about the
characterisation of Portia, and silently
swearing to myself to not take English in
senior school. And I haven't written more than a phrase.

Yealies Stress.

Our yearlies (yearly exams) are coming up in the following few weeks, and I'm already stressing out (although I expect other people in my grade are also in the same situation).

Unfortunately enough, the Year 7's have all already finished their exams, and I expect they will be rubbing that in my face soon enough (but I will snap at them if they do, I'm wound tighter than a wire string on a violin at the moment)

The English examination will be on Wednesday, proceeded by Mathematics on the following Monday, Science on Tuesday, German I on Wednesday, and History and German II on Friday.

And then we'll be free after that.
*woohoo*

Not really free of course, due to the fact that teachers at my school have an OCD (Obsessive Compulsive Disorder) about filling up every second of our lives with countless and useless assignments. (Who really wants to listen to a three-minute podcast about the life and works of Elizabeth Bathory? My history teacher, apparently)

Currently, I'm working on review questions for the English examination; The Merchant of Venice. I've gotten up to question 1 so far, and I really don't plan to continue on with the rest of the questions. They are just horrifically tedious.

Time to close. I would include a picture of my copy of The Merchant of Venice, but frankly that book disgusts me so much I can no longer bear to look at it.

Later.

Long Time Coming

Holy Moly, it's been toooooo long.
Way too long.
Been caught up in too much homework stuff.
And Facebook.

And my jewellery stand, I really need to start on that.
So recently, I read an article on FanFiction, called Why Twilight Sucks. Time spent well :)
It's 7pm, and so the Saturday movie starts soon (for those people in Australia)
I just checked:
Channel 7- TriNations Rugby *eurgh*
Channel 9-Maid in Manhatten (I've seen it more than enough)
Channel 10- Ice Age - The Meltdown (I've seen it almost as many times as I've seen Maid in Manhatten)
SBS- MYTHBUSTERS *YEEEAH*

And the Simpsons is on now, so I might as well pop downstairs to watch that now. It's the hockey episode.

So long, kudos

Ahmhmhmhmhm

We went washing-mashine shopping today...and bought one!
Thes picures we'll call:
Two Idiots Trying To Fit One Washing Machine Into A Car(gave up after a while)

For those Chewbacca Fans out there, this is a must have:

Found them vests at the Ed Harvy Clearance Warehouse in Chatswood ;)
then we went to Yum Cha
(chilli sauce is the king of all sauces)
we finished our first lot of chilli sauce that they gave us, so we asked for another lot...and gave us a ginormous plate of chilli sauce...which no one touched *raises eyebrow*

Hallo

Hey there my fellow Cybertronians (wtf?)
My day was good
I'm now half-way through my first book
I only have 48 more hours left to finish 4 more books!

So we went dinnering at this North Ryde RSL club, and they had these amazing pork-ribs with "special BBQ" sauce
oh yummo
I absolutely recommend them to anyone
After that dinner, I had this blob of BBQ sauce on my chin, and I went around the club walking around like an idiot with un-noticed sauce on her chin
Hmmmm....
I just finished a slice of homemade peach pie
following the utter disaster of my chocolate pudding
it was supposed to be self-saucing, but I cooked it for too long, and all the sauce inside of it dried up (the chocolate pudding, that is)
and the success of my apple caramel slices
(yes, I have been up to lots these hols ^^)
My mum has gotten seconds from the pie
(will post up pictures tomorrow)
last night, I went on a Transformers craze
I had about 15 tabs open, each with a different webpage open about the new Chevrolet Camaro version Bumblebee
But I must say, I was utterly dissapointed when I found out that the Autobot badge wasn't on the steering wheel
But I still have a few years ahead of me before I get my full license
Adios, children.

Last days of hols :(

Yuppity yup, last day of the holidays :(
But we do have the weekend
but they never count

I'm going to make a peach pie tonight....yay....
Oh gosh, I feel so tired
I need to do some work
Monday's school
for another 11 weeks of enslavery, too-early mornings and all nighters.
(not fun)

On a lighter note (yeah, I always have one ^^)
I borrowed 5 books from Chatswood Library, though mum thinks I can't read them all before the holidays ended
I said I could
I'm not even halfway through the first book *sarcasticsmileythatonlyexistsonMSN*
The Red Necklace, Sally Gardner
Well actaully, I'd recommend anything by Sally Gardner (nonexistentthumbsupthatalsoonlyexistsonmsn*
Blogspot should get some emoticons
*fights the urge to rant about ROTF*

Awesumo

Check out this thing I picked up somewhere on the net

No scary movie for anyone

What a day....
We weren't allowed to watch Drag Me To Hell, because none of us had our ID's on us...way too go. Instead, we settled for Ice Age 3, which has actaully quite funny. It was either Ice Age 3 or My Life In Ruins (nooo thank you)

On a lighter note, I snagged an Easy Way for $2.30 (thanks, Entertainment Book!)
I also picked up and abandoned copy of the Sunday Telegraph, still in it's plastic wrapper and everything, sitting on the stairwell leading up to my house (I live in a complex, and there was no house number written on the plastic).

Picture time!
My very attractive Mexicana Chicken baked potatoe

I am currently struggling with the Giant Crossword in the Sunday Telegraph. How do you rephrase "Frightened"?

Dunlops and Greater Union

(I'm not lazy, I promise)
I'm just not bothered to walk through Macquarie University to Macquarie Shopping Centre...
SO I'M CATCHING THE BUS!!!
*mentally remembers bus numbers 290, 292 or 288*
We're going to Greater Union to watch Drag Me To Hell...I'm sweating already ;)
I recently acquired a pair of green Dunlop Volleys, they're very cool.
Leaving in a hour.....I'm officially stuck watching the Morning Show :O

Nori, Nori, Nori

Time to share some pictures of my Classic Silver Tabby...also known as Nori.
The first picture is when my cat decided to take a nap on my bed...as usual.

The second one is when she decided to take a nap on my maths homework...obviously I couldn't finish it, and I couldn't tell the teacher I didn't finish my maths homework becuase my cat was sleeping on it without evidence, so I took a picture for proof.
I tried flipping the pictures, but to no avail (second time today that I've used that phrase), so just flip your laptop around, or turn your head to the right ;)

grand theft auto failure

I am watching my cousin steal and complete a Taxi Mission in Grand Theft Auto, alas to no avail
Just thought I'd like to share to my readers (if there are any) that my cousin brought home a second hand Playstation 2 today...quite a surprise really....
It's the slim black box on the left of our very snazzy widescreen TV :D

american

IT'S IN AMERICAN!
blogspot is in American, I just realized
(bless my ignorance)
so that means
my previous blog was posted at 9:38pm or something
but it's actually
3:33pm
in Sydney
hmhmhmhmhm.

boringness

I figured, at this rate, I'm going to be posting up a hundred posts a day
Lets play trivia:
fishlove has a facebook (although her name isn't fishlove)
fishlove is a sad name
fishlove needs a new name but can't think of one
fishlove does not acutally love fish, nor like them. fishlove owns one cat, called nori (don't ask)
recently saw Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince
cried when *spoiler alert* Dumbledore died :(
but it was cool when Lovegood raised her wand, and she was crying
so realistic :(

funny text

So, I just thought I'd share this with everyone
I got a text about half an hour ago, saying:

Hey!
I'm in Marsfield shopping centre!
hahahahaha!

(for those who don't know, she means Macquarie Shopping centre, but Marsfield is the suburb where Macquarie Shopping/University is situated [for those Sydney-siders, MACQUARIE IS NOT A SUBURB!])

just finished my super bacon, egg and tomatoe sandwhich (toptip: never put Turkish bread in a toaster unless you're willing for the smoke alarm to go off for 10 minutes)

first post ^^

So.
I'm guessing that the only way you've stumbled across my humble little blog page is that you are as much as a Transformers fan as I am, and have spent the last half an hour inserting URLs like
bumblebee.blogspot.com
or
starscream.blogspot.com
into your URL box
No?
I guess its just me...as always
I would rant on about my dissapointment in the latest Transformers movie, but I won't bore my readers with it...
like I have any
